I’m thrilled to announce that ReelCode.io is now available. It’s a code-running platform such as LeetCode but with more realistic problems.
Three weeks ago I posted a note that showed a picture where I’m playing with the idea of a code-running platform such as LeetCode but with more realistic problems:
It got an enormous amount of engagement. Given the fact that I’m new to Substack and this newsletter doesn’t have tens of thousands of subscribers, 370+ likes is great engagement. It seemed that this idea resonated well with my readers, which is awesome. So I gave myself a 2-3 weeks deadline to launch something that is good enough and contains at least 5-6 problems. It was a challenging time because a code-running platform involves so many moving parts such as running Docker inside a Docker container, etc.
So here we are, three weeks later. It’s available on reelcode.io and you can solve 7 problems at the moment. I’m planning to update it on a regular basis with more problems.
Try it out and let me know if it crashes!
Kudos for the site! I like the idea of resolve practical issue to the real world! Keep going 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Thanks Martin. Checked the site. Great start. See if u can add more programming languages to the solution submission form e.g. Python, C/C++ , Java . That would cover most of the commonly used languages.
